Coronavirus - Clinic Alterations

In accordance with government stipulations and advice from our professional bodies – The General Osteopathic Council and the Institute of Osteopathy, we plan to operate the clinic as follows:

  • If either you or anyone in your household exhibit any signs or symptoms of coronavirus between booking and attending the clinic, you must let us know
  • We will conduct telephone triage with you either at the time of booking or shortly before your appointment to check it is safe for us to treat you
  • If you have face masks, we ask you to bring one with you, you are welcome to use any other protective equipment you have
  • Please wash/sterilise your hands on entering the premises – soap and water or antiseptic gels are provided
  • Please wait in your car until the osteopath contacts you to ask you to come in – this minimises mixing with other individuals. We will not be using the waiting room
  • Your osteopath will be using recommended PPE equipment which is changed between each patient
  • The treatment rooms and common areas will be sterilised between each consultation
  • If possible, the window will be open at all times
  • We will be staggering the appointments on any days when more than one osteopath is working
  • If you have any questions or concerns, please do contact us. David Stainer-Smith (07554 883321) or Paul Thompson (07974 103261), or alternatively you can email the clinic via the web page (www.sdosteopaths.co.uk) or sdosteopaths@gmail.com
